Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

You sign in with Apple or Google. You’re responsible for keeping that third-party account secure — anyone who can sign in with your Apple ID or Google account can sign in to Log Anything as you. You agree to notify us promptly at support@loganything.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Everything you log — text entries, custom types, avatars, settings — is yours. You retain all rights to it.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you (e.g. saving your entries, returning them to your devices, running them through the AI parser as described in our Privacy Policy, and providing customer support). This license ends when you delete your content or your account.

You represent that your content does not violate the law or any third-party rights, and that you have the right to grant us the licence above.

The Service uses third-party AI models to extract structured fields from your entries. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You should review and correct it as needed — every parsed value in the app is editable for this reason.

The Service is nota substitute for professional advice. Don’t use it for medical, legal, financial, nutritional, or other decisions where accuracy is critical without independent verification. You assume all risk associated with relying on AI-generated output.

Premium features are unlocked by an auto-renewing subscription. Pricing and the length of each subscription term are shown in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region. By subscribing you authorise Apple to charge your Apple ID for the price shown, and to renew the subscription automatically at the end of each term until you cancel.

Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues through the end of the current paid period.

Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policy. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Except where required by law, we do not issue refunds directly.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to do anything illegal, harmful, or harassing.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code, except as permitted by law.
• Probe, scan, or stress-test the Service, or attempt to bypass our authentication, rate limits, or any other security or access controls.
• Use the Service to store content that infringes someone else’s rights, violates the law, or contains malware.
• Resell, sublicence, or expose the Service or your access to it to third parties without our express written consent.
• Use any automated system (bot, scraper, crawler) to access the Service in a way that imposes unreasonable load, or to extract data we haven’t exposed via a documented API.
• Submit content to the AI parser that is designed to extract our system prompts, jailbreak the model, or generate content that violates the AI provider’s usage policies.

The Service, including the app, website, design, code, copy, branding, logos, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Log Anything and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your own personal use, subject to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property to you.

We’re a small team building actively. Features will change. We may add, remove, or modify functionality, and we may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or to fix problems. We’ll try to give reasonable notice for material changes when we can.

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We don’t guarantee uptime, and we’re not liable for losses caused by service interruptions.

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users. Where practical, we’ll tell you the reason and give you a chance to fix it first; in serious cases (e.g. suspected fraud, abuse, legal risk) we may suspend access immediately and notify you afterwards.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Your content, Intellectual property, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, Indemnity, Governing law, Dispute resolution, and General provisions) survive termination.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR QUIET ENJOYMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR ABSOLUTELY ACCURATE.

AI-GENERATED OUTPUT IS PROVIDED FOR YOUR INFORMATION ONLY AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. WE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON AI OUTPUT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOG ANYTHING WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations on warranties or liability — those parts may not apply to you, and your liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Log Anything and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, or expense (including reasonable lawyers’ fees) arising out of (a) your content, (b) your use of the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any third-party right or applicable law.

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of them are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the dispute resolution section below, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes that are not resolved by arbitration.

Informal resolution first. If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@loganything.app. We’ll try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. Most disputes can be resolved this way.

Arbitration.If we can’t resolve a dispute informally, you and Log Anything agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be finally settled by arbitration administered under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, of India.

• The arbitration will be conducted by a sole arbitrator.
• The seat and venue of arbitration will be Bengaluru, India.
• The language of arbitration will be English.
• The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding on both parties.
• Each party will bear its own costs of arbitration unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.

Equitable relief. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking interim or injunctive relief from a court having competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

No class actions. You and Log Anything agree that claims will be brought only in your or our individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

• Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service, and supersede any prior agreement.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in full force.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law.
• Force majeure.We’re not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, labour disputes, internet or power outages, acts of government, or third-party service failures.
• Electronic communications. You consent to receive communications from us electronically (in-app messages, push notifications, or to the email address you signed up with). Notices we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
• Notices to us. Send any required legal notice to support@loganything.app.
• Headings.Section headings are for convenience only and don’t affect interpretation.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
